Food: 5 Mics Service: 5 Mics Ambiance: 4 Mics Food: Ordered my go to, my favorite - Kalbi short ribs and rice. The Kalbi was tender, sweet and. It too fatty. I was very satisfied with how much they give you, I ate the whole plate, I'm too stingy to share. Service: The service here was pretty good. The gentleman who took our order, was polite and gave us solid recommendations. The only complaint is one of our dishes was forgotten about and we had to remind the staff a couple of times. Finally we received our entree 15-20 minutes after everything arrived. Ambiance: Outside, I probably would not have walked in. After my friend recommended this joint to me, talked my wife and brother in law to take our niece from Oakland there. Inside, it's nice. Clean. Dark. Lastly, bathrooms are pretty clean! Check it out, food is legit. I'll be back for some bim bap.

Love all the side dishes that come out! You get so many! Galbi was delicious! Full of flavor. Kimchi Soup was yummy as well. Probably pass on the kimchi fried rice next time though. Didn't have that spicy taste I'm used to. More of a slight sour taste. Overall, very tasty. Would definitely go back.

Food is always good. . I like coming here for the seafood soft tofu soup. But for 18.99 the price is getting steep. I know everything is raised but wow. Other items are 22 and up now. . Tofu soup is served boiling hot. With a raw egg for you to crack in the hot soup. . I love the banchans which they do have a variety for more than 10 side dishes. They did ask me which ones I wanted for refills. . The inside is a lot bigger with more seating. It is a great place to host a gather or just have family dinners here. It's great to do family style as the servings is bigger portion for the high price they charge. . Overall I get my korean cravings out if the way when I am here in sac. It's the best place for banchans in sac if that's what your looking for. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day. Follow me for more foodie places.

Came here for the first time, was excited because I've been wanting to visit this place for a while now. My cousin said the side dishes were really good here and I'd have to agree, they had a bigger variety of banchan that I've never seen served before, pretty much all of them were good. I ordered the soon dofu seafood version and I'd give it a 8/10. Seafood can never go wrong for me and I love a good soup even on a hot day. The rice was delicious too. We also ordered the galbi jim, my cousin wanted to try it and we were open to it. I'd give it a 7/10. There wasn't much outstanding flavor in my opinion, and they didn't give much meat even though the price was steep. I know most places it is an expensive dish given how many hours to work is put into making it but I wish it held up to the standards I had. It also wasn't as tender as I would've liked. Servers were really nice and always checked in.

tough to get good parking here on Sunday early afternoon, but easy to get out of the parking lot. They were really busy, tables were almost fully packed at one point. Service was good overall...had to get a server's attention often for water and fork. Took about 30 mins from seating to the set of banchan, and food to come out for party of 2. The budae jigae is good, so is the spicy cold noodles - it's not overly spicy so that's a relief. $46 for budae jigae with a good amount of food. Wish we could come here on a weekday someday, for their lunchtime M-F specials.

15 banchans (Side dishes)?! Are you kidding me?! My friend had a severe craving for Rabokki (Tteokbokki with ramen) she saw on TikTok so we went on a mission to try to try to get her some. We called the restaurant to see if they have this dish. The server were very accommodating and told us that they could add ramen and cheese into their regular ttebokbokki and we headed straight there. The interior is unassuming but standard for a Korean restaurant with empleo of space and back rooms (2 or 3) for large parties with those lazy susan round tables. The restaurant has a large menu and was a bit on the pricey but they do have huge portion size so I'm not bad about it. We got the angus galbi, beef tendon bone soup, and my friend RABOKKI. What surprised me this the shear amount of side dishes we got after we ordered our food. Didn't have space on the table for our orders then they came out and we have to stack the banchans plate to make room for our main course lol. Overall the food exceed our standards and satisfied my friends craving. Tho she thought that the sauce could have been thicker. My soup came with the beef tenders that melts in your mouth. Really appreciate how they have unique ingredients.

We tried out YD Tofu House on the way back from Tahoe to the Bay Area. For a casual quick dinner, it is a bit pricey with soups and rice dishes starting close to $20. We got a variety of soondubu, galbi and I got the clam kalguksu. The kalguku was pretty good with a nice amount of clam. I do wish the broth had more seafood flavor but the noodles were nice and chewy and it was a great comforting dish. They also gave me a spicy scallion sauce on the side which really helped the flavor of the broth once I added it in. I also tried the galbi which was tender and a large enough portion to share between 2 people. The best part of the meal was the banchan which we were able to refill as much as we wanted. I loved that there was a variety of vegetables, japchae, different kimchis, braised sweet potato and a few others. Service was friendly and quick. it seems like a lot customers get the larger portion stews and braises to share. We'll definitely try one of those if we come back.

Talk about nice hidden gem around Elk Grove area. The perfect way start my race weekend in Sacramento. YD Tofu House regular spot for my cousins. I was excited cause when comes to food they always know best spots in Sac. It not big inside, in small shopping mall, and not most appealing outside overall look. Soon open door smell bulgogi and Kalbi action. So legit. I let my cousins order since regulars. We shared it all family style. Bulgogi, Kalbi, Kim chee fried rice, Kim chee tofu soup, and couple more dishes. All really good. The bulgogi and Kalbi could eat meat AYCE style be good. Ban Chan was amazing. Not only did they have lot of different ones but all good. Service was five stars for sure.
